How would it feel to save a veteran's life this holiday season?
The Veterans' Holiday Recovery Program
The Veterans Holiday Recovery Program provides a way for veterans'
organizations to help their own members to successfully treat the symptoms of
PTSD without the use of drugs. The goal of the program is get advanced technology that successfully treats PTSD directly into the hands of veterans this holiday season.
This miraculous treatment device we use for the program is called the CES Ultra™.
The unit is battery operated. One CES Ultra™ package includes the unit itself, a battery charger and two additional 9-volt batteries guaranteed to recharge for five years or more.
The program is designed for veterans' organizations themselves to get
these units directly into the hands of their own veterans with Post-Traumatic Stress
Disorder. They then get to just step back and watch the changes. Because the organization owns the equipment, once one individual is finished it goes on to another veteran, and then another ... and another ... In one year five to six veterans can be treated by one unit.
The investment in CES and its life-saving benefits doubles, triples and many times more over the years because it is used by many veterans and their families in their own homes without the need for medical supervision for many years. The batteries included in the package last five years or more.
The number of individuals treated comes to approximately 30 a year per CES unit,
or 180 over five years. Multiply that by 300 units purchased during the Veterans’
Holiday Recovery Program and 54,000 veterans and family members would be able to completely reclaim their lives over a five-year period.
If you add to this the entire family which can also be treated in their own homes without the need for medical supervision, the number comes to approximately 30 individuals a year, or 180 over five years. Now multiply that by 300 units to be purchased during this year's Veterans' Holiday Recovery Program and 54,000 veterans and their families would be able to completely reclaim their lives over a five-year period.
The goal of the Veterans Holiday Recovery Program is to have 100
CES Ultra™ packages as gifts for 100 veterans and their families with Post-Traumatic
Stress Disorder for Thanksgiving and an additional 200 packages as Christmas
gifts for another 200 veterans and their families.
Did you know that 390 Vietnam Veterans die each day and that
the majority of these deaths are by suicide or overdose of prescription drugs?

_The following are some statistics that are at once
depressing yet in a larger sense should give you a huge sense of pride.
"Of the 2,709,918 Americans who served in Vietnam, less than 850,000 are estimated to be alive today, with the youngest American Vietnam veteran's age approximated to be 54 years old." How does it feel to be among the last third of all the Vietnam Veterans who served in Vietnam to be alive?
Considering the kind of information available about the death rate of WWII and Korean War Veterans, publicized information indicates that in the last 14 years Vietnam veterans are dying at the rate of 390 deaths each day. At this rate there will be only a few of them alive in 2015.

The Veterans Holiday Recovery Program is a recovery program for veterans with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. It offers successful drug-free relief of symptoms in even severest cases by using the most advanced technology available today.
Post Trauma Disorder, the Holidays and Suicide
The Veterans Holiday Recovery Program can also be considered a highly proactive suicide prevention program. Veterans who commit suicide have severe Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder but it's not always easy to tell if someone is suicidal. Go to CES Ultra™ ("Profiles") and take a look at the story of Clay Hunt, a decorated marine who appeared to be adjusting well, despite a severe injury, after his return from Iraq. Yet one March morning this year, alone in his apartment, he shot himself. According to his family and friends, Clay suffered from what's called "survivor's guilt" - he couldn't get the faces of friends who were killed out of his mind. They didn't know how dangerous this was for him and he didn't, like so many, know how to ask for help.
While you're there watch the "Wounded Platoon". It's the most compelling documentary we're ever soon on how Post Trauma Disorder can begin and where it can take you.
Tragically record numbers of veterans (and active duty) commit suicide each year. We are launching the Veterans Holiday Recovery Program at this time of year because the majority of suicides occur over Thanksgiving and Christmas.
The VA has also announced that suicides this holiday season would probably be 20% higher that other years because of the number of veterans returning from Afghanistan.
The real tragedy is that all these suicides could be prevented. We have the technology and veterans' organizations have the structure and networks to initiate a dynamic suicide prevention program such as this over Thanksgiving and Christmas this year.
Families never recover from the suicide of a loved one. Let's work together. Let's not have one more Clay Hunt die senselessly. (See Post Trauma Disorder - "Profiles".)
The technology that Dr. Gay Larned has introduced through her website www.TraumaRecovery International.com is the CES Ultra™. CES technology uses ‘frequency modulation’ technology to re-establish homeostasis in the central nervous system. When this takes place symptoms simply drop away. CES offers the only drug–free system for relieving most if not all symptoms of Post Trauma Disorder - anxiety, depression, sleep disorders, headaches, pain, addictions and more.
Dr. Larned is an internationally recognized expert in the treatment of head injuries and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder without the use of prescription drugs. She was instrumental in introducing the CES Ultra™ system in the United States which is the primary treatment used in all Trauma Recovery International programs. (To read about Dr. Larned, click on Us.)
The CES Ultra™ is a cranial electrotherapy stimulation system that stabilizes the equilibrium of the central nervous system. When this happens symptoms of mild brain injury and Post Trauma Disorder begin to clear up rapidly. The CES Ultra™ is not a TENS unit nor is it electroconvulsive therapy, or shock therapy. It is completely safe and non-invasive.
The CES Ultra™ has more versatility and is the most cost-effective CES system available anywhere in the world.

Battery Charger and Rechargeable 9-Volt Batteries
To keep the CES Ultra™ running optimally it’s important to have a battery charger and additional rechargeable batteries. A 9-volt battery comes with each CES Ultra™ unit and can be charged approximately eight times. The CES Ultra™ package includes the unit itself and a battery charger with two additional rechargeable batteries. The batteries have a five-year warranty. This guarantees that each battery can be charged for five years or returned for a new one at no cost.
The charger and extra batteries are sent separately and, as part of the Veterans Holiday Recovery Program, these shipping and handling costs will also be covered by TRI.
Go to CES Ultra™ ("How to Use the CES Ultra™") for detailed instructions and photos showing how to use this remarkable technology.
Dr. Gay Larned and Drew Raines - a “Marines Disquisition”
Dr. Gay Larned appears weekly on the radio show a “Marines Disquisition”, hosted by Drew Raines, a retired Marine and veteran of the Vietnam War, and broadcasts out of Little Rock, Arkansas. You can find “A Marines Disquisition” at http://amd.elequity.com/blog1.php.
Dr. Larned appears on the show every Friday with Drew at 3:00 p.m. Pacific Time. During November and December check scheduling; the program may begin at 2:00 p.m. and go for two hours.
Dr. Larned talks about drug-free treatment that the CES Ultra™ offers and specifically how it works to relieve the symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder without the use of prescription drugs.
The mission of the Veterans Holiday Recovery Program.
1. The Veterans Holiday Recovery Program is designed to focus the efforts of veterans'
organizations by providing this proven technology Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
2. Trauma Recovery International wants to demonstrate how veterans with Post-Traumatic Stress
Disorder can be significantly helped by their own veterans' organization in a simple and easy
ways overa short period of time using this advanced technology. The equipment used for the
Veterans Holiday Recovery Program is the CES Ultra™ and can be purchased for the program
at a significant discount from TRI. (See Order- "Veterans Holiday Recovery Program".)
3. The organization owns the equipment so it can be used many times by many veterans
and their families over the years. The unit is battery operated and comes with a
battery charger and two rechargeable batteries. The batteries can be recharged for five
years or more. The hand held device measures only 2.4" x 4" and fits inside a pocket.
It comes with a durable case and is very portable.
4. Treatment takes only six to twelve weeks for even the most severe symptoms of Post
Trauma Disorder. Chronic Post Trauma Disorder can make a family dysfunctional with
serious symptoms of their own. The CES Ultra™ can be used by the whole family to
successfully relieve all symptoms.
The Veterans Holiday Recovery Program provides hope and recovery for those most seriously affected by Post Trauma Disorder because it uses the most advanced technology available for drug-free relief of most if not all of the symptoms - anxiety, depression, sleep disorders, headaches, pain, addictions and more.
The Veterans Holiday Recovery Program is easy to implement.
Veterans' organizations are well organized and long established. These organizations are also well-networked within themselves. This can make implementation of the Veterans Holiday Recovery Program very simple.

Veterans in the United States are among the most organized and well networked groups in the country.
There are over 20 million veterans in the United States many of whom serve in over thirty veterans' organizations, such as the National Veterans Association, Vietnam Veterans Association, Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, Marine Corps League, and over 350 privately funded Vet Centers in the U.S.
The 2011 Veterans Holiday Recovery Program is focusing on one state. This is because, primarily, 2011 is the inaugural year of the program and, secondly, the successful launch of a program depends largely on keeping the number of variable to a minimum. Focusing on a smaller geographic area helps to do this.
The goal of the 2011 Veterans' Holiday Recovery Program is to develop a successful model for other veterans' organizations in all the states.
The same veterans' organizations as yours in other states just needs a phone call and they can be informed about a is drug-free recovery from Post Trauma Disorder. And they can initiate their own Veterans Holiday Recovery Program as early as this year.
Save a veteran's life over the holidays. Forward this website to everyone in your organization in and out of your region and in and out of your state.
Commit, follow through with a purchase of one CES Ultra unit, give it to the veteran who most needs it, and their family. Share the experience with your organization in other parts of the state and the country.
We hope that any organizations participating this year will send us photos or videos of the results of your Veterans Holiday Recovery Program. You can document the progress of veterans' recovery and the changes in the family, and share these with your organizations' intra-state and inter-state network.
Each family member can use the CES Ultra™ system to relieve the symptoms of their own stress as a result of having someone in the family with serious PTD - anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, learning disabilities, allergies, headaches, and more.
The changes are rapid and dramatic and wonderful to document because the individuals using the advanced equipment are absolutely amazed at the changes it's making in their lives so rapidly and so easily.
Go to CES Ultra™ ("Advantages of the CES Ultra™) and go to the last two pages where there is list of each day's and each week's changes a veteran can anticipate.
We're focusing on state this year - Arkansas - and then, like a cookie cutter, we can take the model to all 52 states.
Why begin the program in Arkansas?
Arkansas is where Drew Raines lives and where his radio broadcasts originate. So it seems appropriate.
There are also VFW and American Legion posts in Arkansas alone.
What is the Veterans Holiday Recovery Program?
The Veterans Holiday Recovery Program is the commitment on the part of as many posts of the VFW and the American Legion that want to participate to purchase one CES Ultra™ package each and get it into the hands of someone who needs it the most. Then step back and watch the changes. And because your organization owns the equipment, once one individual is finished, it then goes on to another individual, and then another ...
The goal of the Veterans Holiday Recovery Program is to have 100 CES Ultra™ packages as gifts for 100 veterans with Post Trauma Disorder and their families for Thanksgiving and an additional 200 packages as Christmas gifts for another 200 veterans and their families with serious PTD.
Each CES Ultra™ has a $300 is a firm-fixed price and TRI will cover all shipping and handling.
If fifty, instead of 300, posts join the Veterans Holiday Recovery Program, and each purchases one CES Ultra™ package, that means 50 veterans' lives may be saved by this gift of life from their fellow veterans.
That’s 50 lives saved from potential suicide or death by overdose of drugs prescribed to them by VA doctors. These potential deaths could all be prevented during the holidays this year. If you haven’t yet, go to Trauma Disorder and watch ‘The Wounded Platoon’.
Why are Thanksgiving and the Christmas holidays chosen for the Post Trauma Disorder Recovery program to begin?
Tragically each year there are record suicides for veterans and active duty military. We are initiating this offering during this holiday because it’s during Thanksgiving and Christmas that the majority of these suicides occur. The VA has also predicted that there will be a 20% increase in the number of holiday suicides because of the return of troops from Afghanistan.
How would it feel to give the gift of life to a veteran and a veteran’s family this holiday season?
How would it feel to know that many, many veterans and their families can be saved for a few hundred dollars for one CES Ultra™ package?
How do we achieve these goals when Thanksgiving is so close?
It takes only one phone call. One phone call can initiate a meeting of the governing board and members to read this section of the website, purchase a unit, identify who would most benefit, and present the it to him or her and their family as part of a Thanksgiving event to be shared by all.
Because Thanksgiving will soon be here payment should be made via bank wire transfer. (See Order, "Instructions for Veterans Holiday Program" - "Method of payment" at the end). To achieve our goals of getting the packages into the hands of those who most need them we will pay for shipping and handling including the cost of expedited orders when needed.
What a gift, and what a feeling.
The CES Ultra™ packages are property of the veterans' organizations that purchase it. It can be shared by many individuals with Post Trauma Disorder. And it can be shared by many families. Severe PTD can make an entire family sick with similar symptoms - anxiety, depression and sleeplessness. Additional symptoms we see in families are learning disabilities, irritability, mood swing, behavioral problems, nightmares, allergies and more.
After one veteran achieves stability and permanent relief of symptoms of Post Trauma Disorder and greater harmony and wellness is present in the family itself, the unit can then be passed to another veteran and family, and then passed to another, and another to another for years.
The CES Ultra™ units don’t wear out.
They come with a durable case and the two extra rechargeable batteries are guaranteed for five years. For the price of one unit, the number of veterans’ lives you could touch time is very great. They can be brought to post meetings and vet centers to share while. Vet center counselors should know about them. VA psychiatrists should know about them.
In this a simple and inexpensive way to end tragic and senseless suicides and tragic and senseless waste of lives for those still living, can be prevented for many veterans. And their families can have the chance, with counseling, to heal and come together as a much healthier unit. Study after study tells us that the most rapid and permanent recovery from head injuries, Post Trauma Disorder and addictions is when there are strong support systems. There is no stronger support system than a healthy family.
